HP 11970K Harmonic Mixer, Frequency 18 - 26.5 GHz
The Agilent 11970K waveguide mixer is a general-purpose harmonic
mixer employing a dual-diode design to achieve flat frequency response and
low conversion loss. These are achieved without external dc bias or
tuning stubs. Manual operation and computer-controlled hardware operation
are simplified because mixer bias and tuning adjustment are not required.
The 11970K extends the frequency range of the Agilent E4407B ESA-E series
portable spectrum analyzer, the Agilent 8560 E-series portable spectrum
analyzers, the Agilent 8566B spectrum analyzer (used with the Agilent 11975A
amplifier), and the Agilent 70000 modular measurement system (used with the
Agilent 70907A/B external mixer interface modules).

This 2075 Noise-Gain Analyzer is a programmable microprocessor-controlled, double
conversion receiver designed specifically to make precise measurements of noise and
gain characteristics of RF devices. The analyzer can be controlled using its front
panel controls, or in remote mode by an external controller via an IEEE-488 GPIB.
The specified input frequency range extends from 10 MHz-1850 MHz, but it is tunable
and operable to 1900 MHz for RF measurements. More complex test configurations,
requiring 1 or 2 stages of external downconversion, allow measurements of devices
with output frequencies up to 250 GHz.

HP 8349A BROADBAND MICROWAVE AMPLIFIER 2 - 20 GHz
The 8349A is a broadband, solid state Microwave Amplifier operating
from 2 to 20 GHz. It provides >15 dB power gain. Maximum leveled output is
+19 dBm. Many signal generators have reduced output levels at the upper
end of their frequency range. The 8349A can be used to boost their outputs
to levels sufficient for applications such as local oscillator use and
antenna measurements. When used in scalar network systems, dynamic range can
be increased 20 dB. The 8349A features a power level readout in
conjuction with the internal leveling circuit so that and external power
meter and directional coupler are not required to monitor the output.

Low noise GaAsFET high dynamic range preamplifers, three pole post preamp
filters, High Level +17 dBM Schottky Double Balanced Mixers (DBM's) on
receive yielding input 3rd order intercept points of +7dBM and output 3rd
order IP's of up to +27dBm. Depending upon model, either a high level or low
level DBM is used on transmit. All receive mixers are terminated with

operation (LT70S) plus a built in power meter. Drive requirements are: 1.0mW
- 500mW via a back panel adjustable attenuator. 13.8VDC operation @ 3.5A
